LocationBradfield is located in Fairfax County two miles from the Capital Beltway (I-495) and is a 20 minute drive to cross the DC city line in non-rush hour traffic.
If you prefer public transportation, Metro buses stop along Braddock Road and offer service to and from the Pentagon where commuters pick up underground Metro subway trains. Check the schedule for locations and times at www.wmata.com/ . Residents can also park and access the subway at three locations: the Dunn Loring Metro Station at 2700 Gallows Rd, Vienna; the Vienna Metro Station at 9550 Saintsbury Drive, Fairfax (both on the Orange Line) and the Springfield Metro Station (on the Blue Line) at 6880 Frontier Drive, Springfield. Fare cards for parking and riding must be purchased. Check with the attendant on duty for details. Another public transportation option is the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) www.vre.org/ . The closest two stations are the Burke Centre Station located at 10399 Premier Court, and the Rolling Road Station at 9016 Burke Road, both in Burke on the Manassas Line.
